Objectives :
навчальна: навчити учнів правильно вимовляти, читати, перекладати слова з теми «Україна»;
розвиваюча: розвивати дитячу пам’ять, увагу, мислення, імітацію, швидкість мовленнєвої реакції, формувати в учнів вміння та навички усного мовлення;
виховна: виховувати любов та повагу до своєї Батьківщини.
Equipment: Карта Західної Європи, 2 м’ячі, розрізний алфавіт по кількості учнів у класі, світлини дорогих авто, Карпатських та Кримських гір, тризуба, картки для опрацювання лексичного матеріалу ( Card № 1), картки самооцінювання.

І. Introduction

Teacher: Good morning, dear pupils!

Teacher: Do you like to travel? Today we have the very interesting lesson- we’ll travel by these beautiful cars through Ukrainian land, because the topic of our lesson is Ukraine. On our next lessons we’ll travel by train, by plane, by ship. In such a way we’ll learn as much as possible about our Motherland and, besides, shall have wonderful time together. Let’s begin…
- Motivation
Teacher: First of all look at the map. This is our country. As you see Ukraine is in the centre of Europe. Do you want to know how can we speak about it?
Pupils: Yes, we do.
Teacher : Let’s learn new vocabulary.

- Гра »Snowball». Учень 1 читає перше слово, учень 2 – перше + друге слова, учень3 – перше + друге + третє. Останній учень читає усі слова.
- Усний переклад слів та словосполучень:

F) Закрити ліву частину вправи і перекласти з англійської мови українською за 30 секунд.
G) Закрити праву частину вправи і перекласти з української мови англійською за 35 секунд.

3. Teacher : Take your sits again and go on our travelling. The next is
the Playing station.
A) Гра з м’ячем на закріплення вивченої лексики: учні разом з учителем стають у коло. Вчитель кидає м’яч учневі, називаючи слово українською мовою, учень має швидко перекласти його і відкинути м’яч учителю.
B) Гра « Hot potato». Учні так само стоять у колі. Вчитель бере м’яч маленького розміру і, називаючи слово іноземною мовою, швидко, щоб « не обпекти руки»,передає його іншому учневі. Той у свою чергу називає інше слово і так само передає по колу іншому учневі. Гра проходить у швидкому темпі, слова не можна повторювати.
C) Гра « Хто більше?»
Учитель роздає кожному учневі розрізаний алфавіт. Завдання: за певний час скласти якомога більше вивчених слів і зачитати вголос. При потребі можна користуватися списком нововивчених слів.
4. Teacher: Take your sits once more. Let’s go! The last for today is
the Writing station. Open your vocabularies and write down the new words into them.

Pupil 1: At our lesson we travelled by these expensive cars, learned the new vocabulary on the topic of “Ukraine” and played.

Pupil 2 : The easiest task was to play with balls.
Teacher: What was the most difficult task?
Pupil 3 : All the tasks were easy.
Teacher: How did you like our lesson?
Pupil 4 : It was very interesting.
